I take a bladderwrack seaweed supplement, which from what I understand has the highest fucoidan content of any of the seaweeds. According to Dr. D'Adamo it is very beneficial for those of blood type O for a number of reasons, including thyroid problems. I have been using it for quite awhile and no thyroid improvement that I can tell so far.
I was taking a supplement that had sodium alginate (Laminaria kelp source) but have run out. I have recently order some sodium alginate by itself to take but it was backordered. I need to try again.
I also occasionally snack on dulse and kelp and use milled dulse as a spice in some of my cooking.
The MODIFILAN product looks like a good product but considering what I have already been doing I don't know if it would help me much. I certainly don't think my problem is a lack of Iodine considering all the seaweed I have been using the last year or so.
