Broken tooth - What is the best option?

One of my molars broke while I was eating lunch today and I'm wondering what my options are now. It was a decent sized chunk of tooth and I think the only reason I'm not in pain is that the filling in the tooth is still intact, but who knows how long that'll last.

I've read some stuff about broken teeth and some of the things that were proposed, but I didn't get an biased opinion about them. Amalgams and crowns were the two most likely options, but with all the controversy regarding metal in amalgams, I'd like to stay away from them. Crowns on the other hand had a number of variations possible. The gold ones are filled with metal and I'd like to not get those if I can avoid it. Ceramic ones sound more appealing, but I'm not sure if there is metal in them or not.

So some questions for dentists/dental experts here:

1) Is there metal (metal that I should be worried about) in ceramic crowns?
2) Do regular dentists have non-metal crowns/amalgams available?
3) Is there any material in ceramic/metal-less crowns/amalgams that can be harmful?
4) If I go to a regular dentist for a crown, can it be "un-done" (after a few years or so) to be re-done by a holistic/natural dentist?
5) Is there any other advice about something I didn't specifically ask that could be helpful in my situation?

Thank you very much for your time and responses. It is appreciated.
