for biting teeth, the typical crown is porcelain over gold (or porcelain over metal if a non-biologic dentist, which has nickel).

non-biologic dentists are not likely to offer you a non-metal crown.all dental materials are toxic, but there are some that are far less toxic. 

all materials have metals, too.  diamondcrown and diamondlight start out with metals, but most burn off in the processing.  there are other toxic substances to look out for with them. 

a biologic dentist can replace your crown later if you want.
