Thanks again, what you post is very true, yo yo. I agree that one big fast will not cure all. It took me years to get into bad shape and it is not going to all be healed with 2 months of liquid dieting.
I do not consider this a water fast. Because of what I will be adding to my water.
I guess my point is to cut the string and roll onto a healthy way of living. And perhaps 2 months without all those foods I crave such as carbs, and sugar mostly, will be cleansed out of me. I have read many books, and some books suggest that the cravings come from cells that are addicted to certain foods. ( Candida) And that not giving them that food will cause them to die off. And cravings go away. I have already cut down on these foods drastically from my past, yet some of them need to be cut out completely. And when I am healthier maybe once or twice year at a relatives house or something.
Binge eating and junk food have been my biggest problem. And so is not drinking enough water. So I am trying to break a pattern and add a healthy one. Perhaps 8 weeks is too long. But I feel like it will take that long to get into some good patterns and to plan on what to do once I am finished. I want the changes to be permenant.
You do not think this will kill me... well that is good. Do you think if I succeed it will benefit me if I stay on a good healthy eating plan and exercise daily ?
I deeply appreciate your frankness and time. Thank you
