I was reading your stories and I am reacting to your last one where it seem to have worked.
Please stay as long as possible on the diet for a long term remission.
A couple of years ago I tried the procedure as well, I got in complete remission for say 4 months but it came back strong. Now I think it had to do with the fact that after
1,5 month I more or less returned to a "normal" diet as I felt all was OK. I was so happy and I did not bother any longer but than, 4 months later, the symptoms returned. Now I am trying the procedure again, I see improvement BUT somehow it is jumpy while I am on a stable diet.
But like you I am also having a working life which is hard to maintain the diet but health is so much more important that I am thinking to take a long vacation and completly focus untill it is in remission again.
The chinese wood ear sounds interesting to try out.
But again keep the diet as long untill you feel completly normal and all the symptoms are gone otherwise all was for nothing in the end it was a waste of effort and time.
