Re: Difference between raw food fruitarians and raw food vegans

A lot of fruitarians especially first stage ones and ones that I read here on CZ overeat fruit (especially high glycemic ones) despite it's benefits is more destructive to the organism due to Sugar content.

Fruits are generally not calorically dense enough to support one causing one to overeat them and suffer consequences such as dental caries and trips to the bathroom every 15 minutes.

Objections based on killing plants are not accurate, either. When we harvest vegetables, we do so at the end of their growth cycle, we don’t “cut them down in the prime of life.” as opposed to animals for instance whom, are slaughtered long before their natural lifespan is finished.

We can also distinguish between the fruit/vegetable and the plant. When we pick, say a tomato, we do not kill the plant, but it continues to grow–no life is taken. As for root vegetables such as carrots or potatoes, the “root” that we harvest is the final stage in the plant’s growth, if it were not harvested, the plant would merely rot in the earth. Furthermore, in plants the sensory mind is only potential, it is “asleep.” They do not feel pain. Although they do have a rudimentary nervous system that responds to injury, the conscious mind that would receive the message of pain in animal organisms is not functional.

There is no superiority in diets, only man made distinction as vegetables are 'fruit' of the plant they grown on. It is wise to mix of the fruits and vegetables and grains if one desires, and even the offering from animals that does not kill them also if one desires.
