Re: Can men be tested for BV?

Symptoms may be irritation when urinating/pain/discharge, also there may be skin irritations related. I think a urine test to measure bacteria would catch BV in a male. Even yeast infections can be contagious! It is best to use protection when a partner has any type of infection, of course, abstainance is best for healing purposes.

I am not speaking from experience here so perhaps someone else may have a better explanation.
