Your post: A bit of something like this in the MOM gargle works well too...
I got the idea from Ted on earthclinic.com who used zinc chloride... but I think we get too much chloride in our lives and chose the zinc carbonate liquid instead.
BTW - a bit of lime water diluted in a glass of water would work too as a mouthwash and gargle... or all three, MOM, lime water, liquid zinc... I would caution against making the solution "too" alkaline though (use less of the MOM if you use either or both of the suggestions here as an experiment) and this would differ from person to person in strength, frequency, AND is based solely on individual need... you be the judge.
We are dealing with a form of "medicine" here.
I have not oil pulled for a long while and had the best dental check up ever recently... so I can confirm that this works much better than the oil pulling; but one must use what they have at hand.
Answer: I would --NOT-- use the Zinc as it is a Very Powerful Alkaline Mineral to --Only-- be needed in Trace amounts !
More than this may lead to Poisoning !
Zinc is used in Rat Poison because it is so Powerful !
I do not choose to be a Dead Rat !
As to the Lime water, it would Alkalize, but it will not Remove the Nitrogen as the Magnesium will do !
Thus my 1st choice is still the Milk of Magnesia (MOM's) !
Cause and Effect !
Smile Tis your choice.
