There was something else that has very similar benefits.. let me see.. that was.. oh yeah, oil pulling. That's what's great about natural medicine - lots of different paths for any given outcome.

Never knew the word masticate comes from a tree bark. This might be the more socially acceptable form of oil pulling for the drive to work, etc. The looks of horror when I spit a mouthful of foaming bright yellow flaxseed oil from my car window might be avoided afterall.

Although I have to admit I do enjoy the early morning Exorcist act. It's my revenge on Maryland drivers who from what I've seen just might be the worst in the world (and I grew up in Southern California).
