When you think of Gall bladder stones, you typically think of the round calcified stones..My mother kept hers in a jar..I actually got a lot of small (1/2 inch or less) Black and brown very hard Triangular stones..pics posted here of hepatic (sp?) duct stones were exactly a match..I just had no idea. Were they flushed from my liver or were they stuck in my GB or the ducts? Who knows..but they MUST have come from the liver..in the first place.
