I have a couple of the Sun Chi's myself. They are an incredible aid for anyone and especially those who are, as you put it, exercise intolerant.

Hopefully after a while you will able to move onto regular walking and rebounding.

Have you considered doing colonics to aid in flushing all the sludge out that keeps moving out?
