oh wow. the book Coconut Cures says a lot of people jump to big amounts right away not thinking it will cause them harm but there was a chapter on what they call a healing crisis. the book says: "Common symptoms include fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, rashes, acne,headaches, muscle aches and pains, loss of appetite, and fever just to name a few"
the book said its different for everyone and people will experience bad symptoms depending on their level of good health.

So a sore throat would be considered a symptom. Im a big sinus person, so i get congested at the drop of a hat as a die off effect. i was in bed several times for almost two days at a time due to die off from coconut oil. it had to be it. i wasnt taking anything else, and it was too much of a coincidence.
