You are facing a psychological barrier. I have been there myself so I can tell you, no offense meant, that you need an stronger will power to have success. Yours is weak, none of your fault. It happens to all of us, victims of food addictions. We eat because we feel we need to, not only to fee the body. Food is our final refuge, the consolation always there to make us feel better (we all have hidden frustrations, broken dreams, etc. ) Again, none of your fault, not OUR fault.
BF is the nicest meal for many, including myself. I did conquer the BF monster gradually...if you like a bowl of cereal, try an smaller bowl..if you like toast, make it one toast only, not two..if you like bacon, eggs, ...whatever it is you eat during BF, try smaller servings... (it will take a few days). Then try to eliminate some of the items, like the bread, etc... I hope you get the picture. Eventually, you will not be eating any BF at all. You can have a hot lemonade with molasses and some cayenne. Believe me, this is satisfying and cleaning...will prepare your body better to stop over eating.
Then one day you will find that BF is not a need, not anymore.
If you feel you have to jump into fasting instead, without doing this, do not start it by missing your most beloved meal. Start your fast at lunch time, or even at dinner time.
