What NH is telling you is true, that lower back pain is very common. Toxins accumulate there at first, very soon in the fast. You can massage the area to improve circulation and gives you relief by moving the toxins. You can get the same result with hot water or a hot bottle or pad on your back. Or you can take a little walk. Your choice.
The same thing happens with the legs. They will almost always hurt due to the accumulation of toxins. There are simple things we can do to move toxins around so they can leave the body, but discomfort is expected and should be welcome. That's the sign we are getting the poison out ... These things last hours or a couple days top.
Mental preparation is a must before starting a fast. We can face these things only if we have the right education and attitude.
