Congratulations on your recovery and healing!
I want to caution you, and those reading your post, that hypnotherapy can be helpful, and it can also be very dangerous. It is vital for anyone considering this approach to seek a hypnotherapist with strong references and credentials, and to consider a combination of many approaches when dealing with emotional disorders. Most are, indeed, manageable, but there is no "cure" for childhood traumas or long-term abuse. There is a journey of recovery and healing that becomes less challenging as time progresses and the client reaches personal milestones. I would suggest that the word, "cure," be used very, very sparingly.
Each person is an individual that has developed according to their genetics, environment, education, nutrition, and spiritual/religious upbringings. This is why "cloning" isn't the answer to immortality - the clone is genetically identical, but they won't have the Life's experiences of the donor. So, each individual is (or, isn't) going to respond to different tools, techniques, and methods.
Again, congratulations on your recovery and keep in mind that this approach may not work for everyone.
