Good question...I had sudden onset of tartar that perfectly coincided with the candida overgrowth OR the switch in my diet to a high protein diet (trying not to feed the candida). I suspect this has something to do with the body being too acidic and dumping acids but I don't really know. Shelley recommends Phosfood to reduce tartar (and it is supposedly good for breaking down stones prior to a liver flush). I'm in Oregon.
