Hello Kay. Yep I got mine taken out on 1/10/05 and it was a piece of cake I agree. The DR told me also to avoid greasy food, as well as cheese, and oils, for a month or two. Then I start eating a little bit more of everything, but all in portions. I lost some weight too that I did not need to lose, due to my Gallbladder problems. But it's only been 3 weeks since my surgery, and I feel great also. I walk, as my exercise, and I do my treadmill. I want to go back to the gym lol. Because I feel fine and all, but the DR said not till about a month and a half after surgery. But anyways, I wish you happy healing. And we need more positive stories on here. Because not always the outcome of surgery is bad for all of us. Some people on here have a narrow point of view on that. Take care, and keep us posted.
