I also had the acalculous type, which actually is the most dangerous type. My entrance to the gb was clogged with cholesterol type of stones so it was starting to atrophy. I would have been in serious type of trouble in a few weeks or months if my gb was not removed.
I still had pain and all the symptoms after surgery that I did before.....my liver was horribly congested and full of stones. I did not start flushing until about 4 months after surgery, but have gotten out thousands of stones since then. Allow your surgical sites time to heal before flushing.
I finally feel that I can do flushes about 4 times a year. I don't have pain, nausea or heartburn anymore, just chronic dumping syndrome and diarrhea.
Good luck on your recovery.
