Hi Mingglingg
You should definately add things to your diet.
What about almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkinseeds?
Even though I love the basmati rice too, I don't eat it for more than 3 or 4 days in a row without taking a break for a day or two.
Try substituting couscous or oatmeal.
Stop by an Indian market and pick up some spices. I love to use clove, cumin, green cardamom pods and tumeric. While you're there pick up some of their rice, I find it tastier than the Lundberg and much cheaper.
Chapati bread might be ok for you to eat. It's a flat bread that you make yourself and it's only chapti flour and water.
I bought this book and it helped me out a lot. http://www.sanatansociety.com/hinduism_books/hb_ayurvedic_healing_cuisine_ayu...
