Dairy products can also cause this. Also dairy intolerance can cause light colored stools in children.

For the most part, children usually don't have liver problems like adult do simply beacuse their livers are so new and clean. They have not suffered through years of toxic exposure from food, water, drugs and even the air. However, if he has a yellow tint to his skin and/or eyes - this DOES indicate a liver problem.
