Your oil will not thicken because you are mixing with saliva. It should turn to a watery consistency.

OR you can try just eating your oils until your lips are better. I take a Tablespoon of flax in the morning and at night. I sleep like a baby and my temperament is much better.

I don't get the same results with other oils like I do with flax oil. BUT, the almond and apricot are much easier to start with and are very light tasting oils. As with, foods, oils are going to react in your body different ways.
