I have dreams like that quite frequently, where I think about them all day sometimes even several. I also have dreams that I don't remember until the day unfolds, then it seems like things that I experience throughout the day remind me of the dream I couldn't remember and then I recall it for days. I am not a dream interpretor but my guess would be that there is something very important that you must take care of sooner than later and you either don't recognize the urgency because of your daily routine or you are hesitant to tackle because it scares you or are just procrastinating and you'd rather make other things a priority.
