I think that doctors or demartologists rarely (or never?) see other people with this condition. From several articles i have read, they point that low prevalence.
Then, they first think that it is a mild case and that we are overreacting. then, they may think this is a factitious condition that we are doing to ourselves (actually it might have started that way, with picking of a normal chapped lip)
I mean, at least i have never seen anyone else with this condition in my life. It might be a matter of doing a wrong thing, at the wrong time with wrong genes? [End]
