I am thinking about cauterizing my lips. I read laser resurfacing thickens the skin by the collagen production. Is there a link to an article that states it thins the skin? I have not heard that before. Thanks!   [End]

Collagen softens the skin so it can probably help the lips feel softer. I have been thinking of having my lips cauterized like the guy who no longer has EC problem. He mentioned a few things he did like having some of his EC surgically removed, cauterizing his lips on a high setting, and applying nothing to his lips afterwards. The effects of burning skin with a laser or new collagen production can last up to 3 years. I would like to know if his lips go back to EC within 3 years to know if it was the lip cauterizing that helped the most. There are different lasers for wrinkles on skin, but ...
