I do indeed know the perils of too much psyllium and not enough water (!) - on the tub (Colonix fibre) it says a serving is 12g - I take it not all of that is pure psyllium, and they give you a measuring spoon - about a tablespoon size, maybe a bit less. I’ll just be taking a teaspoon so I should be ok.

I added straight bentonite to my Colonix when I used it last year without any problems - just going to hydrate it this time to see what the difference is! I found instructions online in the end that said add 1 part clay to 10 parts water, shake vigorously and leave overnight - it’s still very liquid though, I’ll start small and increase if I don’t get results I guess.

Also, as I will be fasting while using P&B, and don’t like to rely on lax teas too much, I was thinking of using Oxypowder to clear things out about twice per week (around my schedule - can’t do it any more often as I’ll be out of the house a lot).

About this dog tapeworm (or whatever it is): If it is the one I’ve been reading up about (I’m basing this on images I’ve found which look exactly like the corn looking stuff) - there’s a very worrying aspect to the infestation in that it can develop into hydatid disease and the host can go unaware of the fact until the rupture of a clump of cysts in an organ causes the organ to fail, or acute anaphylaxis to occur.

I’ll try to be brief. I have some kind of parasite, and the only pictures I’ve seen of anything similar would suggest that it’s a canine tapeworm. Which makes sense - about two years ago I took care of a small dog for someone for a few weeks, and a few weeks later became very ill with chronic diarrhoea, crushing fatigue (falling asleep all day - on the train, at college, if I sat down at home for more than 10 minutes...), digestive upset - rampant hunger despite just having eaten, but with a constant feeling of fullness and cramping.

Every night, something about pregnancy and babies.... it happens quite often where I’ll have a spate of these dreams and then I won’t dream about it for a while, and then it will start up again. I’ve done two months on Colonix. I didn’t see any parasites, that said I didn’t go in there and start dissecting things (I’m not quite there yet!). I didn’t feel much different at all actually, so while I can’t say it was a negative experience, it was a little dissappointing. I liked how simple it was, although some mornings I really had to force that shake down my throat, and I also had to watch my water intake (ie make sure I was getting enough) because I got a little bloated a few times. I’m halfway through day 3 myself... I was finding the pumpkin seeds a little tedious after day 1 so I tossed them very lightly on a warm pan with the tiniest amount of EV coconut oil and liberal amounts of cayenne, cumin, garam masala (all organic of course) and some celtic sea salt - much more palatable. I feel for you - I have serious jealousy issues too, which are really just self esteem and fear issues, and you know what they say - fear is the opposite of love.
