Ok...so, I was considering doing the Blessed Herbs Colon Cleanse. However, I realized that the Digestive capsules are about $25 by themselves, meaning that the Toxin Absorber is about $60. I really don’t understand how it could be that much, considering I bought a big bottle of bentonite, and some psyllium for under $30. I’m considering trying oil pulling, for a number of reasons, but have a couple questions first. I’ve read the instructions here http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/oil_pulling.html and I’m just wondering....does ”follow with 2-3 glasses of water” refer to rinsing or drinking? (hopefully that’s not a dumb question) Also...what should I expect to happen? I’ve read some people saying that saliva starts to flow after a few minutes...is that a good or bad thing? Any birth control pill can cause hair loss. I’d try to steer clear of them all, if possible. However.... I do second the idea of using MSM. I haven’t personally used it, but do know of others who have used it with success. Also, hair loss can be caused by many other things...which she should look into. (low serum ferritin, thyroid problems, high androgen levels, etc)   [End]

I have often read in this forum of folks with  sinus problems getting  good results from the MC but the skin thing is the most commonly written about noticeable results. I’m a guy and got unsolicited comments from one of my gilrfriends about how soft and smooth my skin felt when I was on the MC.  Since you did some good for your sinuses I would take that further and do some research regarding mucous forming foods and experiment with cutting down or eliminating them from your diet altogether.   [End]

Thanks for replying. I’m sure my doctor would recommend that I stay on them. But I’m sure a lot of doctors aren’t familiar with MC either. I’m not suicidal (never have been) and I’ve improved a lot since I started them a couple years ago. My improvements happened after I started cytomel, and when I worked through the majority of my issues. So...I think that if I stay on the cytomel, but go off the Wellbutrin, I’ll probably be ok. I’ll have to think about it more, I guess.   [End]

Ok...so I want to start the MC on Saturday....but I have a few questions. I take prescription drugs, and biotin. I plan to stop the biotin, for sure. I’m just not sure about the rx drugs. I take birth control pills, Wellbutrin, metformin (insulin sensitizer, but used off lable for ”hormone issues”) and cytomel (synthetic T3). I’m going to stay on the BCPs. I’m not sure what to do about the others though. I would like to get off these, which is part of the reason I’m doing MC. Hello...I’m new to cleansing, and have a few questions. I’m planning to do the master cleanse. From my understanding, I do a herbal laxative tea the night before, SWF in the morning, lemonade during the day and HLT at night, is that correct? What about P&B shakes? When should I do those? I have used enemas monthly for a number of years and they always bring great relief - you want to get one of those rubber bag with the hoses - any drigstore should have them - Don’t let them make you feel bad - you are taking care of your health! When you get homw, rinse the bag and fill with warm water - I use tap water (Don’t ever bother again with the pre- prepared ones and the oil sounds awful! but there are some ”recipes” out there which you can research - when full, the bag holds about 2 quarts of liquid. connect the hose to the base that screws into the bag and the other end wil ...

I think that it was definitely the pollution change. I live in a fairly large city and I am currently unhappy with my face, but every year, I go to camp out in the country and BOOM! all acne gone in a flash, my personal remedy is spending some time everyweek outside, in the sun,(not enough time to get sunburned of course) in an as non-polluted as possible environment.   [End]
