Something that I have come to realise is that eating unhealthily is an addiction. Most of us are directed by others, as well as making an effort ourselves, to grab the nearest supersized serving of processed and refined carbohydrates and saturated fats and goble it down. Just in case this is not bad enough, we do this for 15 to 40 years before we realize what we are doing and the consquenses this has. And then, in most cases, we still continue on for many years after that.
In addition to this, a lot of people have weaknesses to certain addictions. Drugs, alcohol, gambling, et cetera ...
