Yes I can totally relate,,,,you’re not alone. I just keep in mind that nothing bad is gonna happen to me, all the fears and a screwed up scenarios i come up with are completely irrational. They will not happen. To hell with what everyone else thinks, they cannot understand , unless they have been through it,. anyone who really loves you will try to help. worry about how you feel & think about improving yourself. Thanx Owen! I got a tough day comin up in two weeks. I play in a popular band in the city i live in. We’re releasing an new album and having a big show in 2 weeks. We’ve been off for 2 months so its been easy not to drink. Stage nerves or panic attacks are always cured by 3 or 4 beers. There’ll be about 300 people there. im with ya on the out of nowhere attacks.....I went to Target to by a new playstation,i love video games, & it hit me. I just couldn’t breathe and I was dizzy & shaky. felt like I was dying and was gonna ball up on the ground. I was lookin forward to going there,it makes no sense. I walked outside (freakin out) & it was gone in 5 minutes. I have no clue what triggers them,,,,,,,,i thought it was drinking,,,,but i havent had a drink in 5 weeks.....fustrating. Thank you Owen,you rock! I was wondering though, I will drink a couple non alcoholic beers at social functions it has a small amount of alcohol in it,,do you think thats a problem? One question for you, do you ever have literaly just one drink sometimes? Not that I will for a long time, but im just curious. I used to smoke pot nightly also & I quit that too, do you think that added to it my panic attacks? But I have no desire to touch that ever again. Thanks Again Marnie!,,,,,,,,Fortunately I haven’t eaten sweets, drank a soda or had caffine in about 10 years. I used to lift weights alot & It was a routine I never got out of( a good one), coffee always made me want to explode before I ever had an attack.I do smoke though, but i have cut back from a pack to about a half a pack a day. I hate vegetables with a passion though,,,,,except salads. I am curious about your Attacks resurfacing,whats the story behind that? & how much do you drink ? I am thirty years old & i think i have been suffering from panic attacks for about 10 years. I only got them when I had been drinking heavily the night before(like 12 drinks). I would simply fix the problem by having another drink & it went away. Or I just wouldn’t drink & everything was fine.
