Hi PM SHROOM, The photo of proglottids look similar, but I don’t think that’s it. These ”things” very closely resemble photos of toxoplasma, toxoplasmosis gondii. But, it’s always said that toxoplasma are microscopic. The ”things” that come out of my skin, when the skin is massaged with mayonnaise, range in size from very small specks up to 1/2 long. Certainly not microscopic. Shroom, how, where, do I go to have them analyzed? I will do it if I knew how and where to go! Thanks, Lorim   [End]

Hi White Tiger, Thanks. I do hope that I did not stupidly expose myself to this affliction. I am still close with my dogs. Not so close as to be in water with them however. They might catch something. :-) But, according to a U.C. Davis entomologist, the sand fly usually becomes infected after feeding on an infected dog or other domestic animal. http://news.ucanr.org/newsstorymain.cfm?story=800 I could have been bitten by a sand fly. Dear ParaZapper, - believe that I have a kind of Leishmaniasis (What would cause you to believe this? Are you or have you been in an area where this is present?) Hello esme90, I don’t know if what I have could be flukes. Flukes are known and none of the pictures I’ve seen of them resemble what I see come out of my skin. What I have is systemic like the fluke. So, I will research flukes and try ”fluke remedies” if there are any. I’m glad to hear that you had good results with Neem. I will try that also. Mineral salt and vitamin C have lessened some of the effects of this infestation. I.E. cleared scalp problems of crawling sensation under scalp, redness, itchiness, and sores. It also minimizes “shaken sugar packet” sound in skull. Using mayonnaise on the skin removes some of the “slugs” and thus slightly reduces crawling sensations and pain for a short while. Mike, I wish that these things were just dirt and skin as you’ve carelessly speculated. Here is a photo of the ”slugs” emerging from the skin. Shroom, I use the mayonnaise routinely to remove the ”slugs”. However, they replenish overnight. The whatisit.jpg photo http://curezone.com/ig/viewphoto.asp?i=whatisit.jpg&f=parasites is just a very small sampling of the larger ”slugs” removed during that massage session, posted for identification. One session of mayonnaise massage will yield thousands of the ”things”, most being very small. Massaging the mayonnaise into my feet for about 2 hours will extract about 4 tablespoons of the critters. I’ve been attempting to photograph the ”slugs” as they emerge from the skin. ... Mike, They are not gunk from atop my skin and mayonnaise. I do have a photo of them emerging from the skin but it is difficult to see due to the shinyness of the mayonnaise that causes them to come out. Also, they can be felt moving around under the skin.   [End]
