There is a reason you want to get off Seroquel. I was on it an recently got off it. It made me have panic attacks. I did it with the help of Xanax and a lot of support from a close family member. I backed off 100 mg at a time, and was on Xanax 1 mg day and Temezepam 10mg for sleep. Even with the meds, it is important that the people around you support you getting off Seroquel. I was on 400mg for 4 years, the doctors perscribed 600mg in the hospital, but after I went home and because I could not tolerate 600mg, I backed down to 400mg. I kept telling the doctors I was on 600mg, because I know Pyschiatric Doctors are medication happy! Especially at government facilities. At age 20 I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. I am in my early 50’s now.
