Hi Sheldon, It’s been another positive week, except for last Monday, when I detected a small amount of blood in my stool. It was quite discouraging, but I snapped back immediately the following day. I’m not sure what I did to cause this minor setback, other than I took Tylenol in the morning that day, because I had a bad headache which my physician said was probably caused by prednisone withdrawal. I will be taking my last 5mg tablet of prednisone tomorrow morning and I am finally done with this terrible drug. I should have mentioned in my last message that I had to get a prescription ...

Sheldon, I have used the enema for 7 days now and you are absolutely right about seeing positive results in 6 days. I have been on prednisone for the past 2 months and I’m tapering off my dosage which is 10 mg per day right now. I was still bleeding up until the 3rd day of the enema treatment. Now, I never see any blood whatsoever and yesterday I experienced my first formed stool in 3 months! I have been following a strict diet for some time now. No fruit and lots of vegetables.
