Hi everyone: I’m wondering if anyone knows something to stop the burning sensation, if the skin is very sensitve. I’ve tried vaseline, Eucerin Acute Lip Balm, Avene Cold Cream, Toleriane Ultra, Aquaphor, SwissJust lip balm, blistex Medicated, but just a few minutes later the burning gets worse. My lips are also very sensitive to apply some stick on it, but I asked the support center (Delasco) about the texture of the tube and the jar. They told me it’s the same. I’m just starting on this, just 4 months ago I was healthy, now I’m living a hell, and I must admit I’m depressed too. thanks for reply. On one of the treatment I did, it happened exactly that. Unfortunately, the healing sensation lasted not much, in less than 48hrs. without anything, the dryness and crusting process started again. On another treatment I tried without steroids, the healing sensation lasted for 5 or 6 days. The dryness process was slower. I don’t know, maybe my doctors suspended the treatements too soon. I hope it’s not your case. I’m very interested to know about your progress. I’ll follow your updates.   [End]

I did a laser resurfacing, but that was about 2 years ago. I got EC after I got a biopsy on my lower lip 4 months ago. The result of the biopsy was negative, and unnecessary. I’ve seen 7 doctors since I started with this problem, and they told me it was uncecessary. Before the biopsy I was fine, I just had a freckle on my lower lip. It was something preventive. I still regret of that decision. Now all my life has changed. I did the biopsy to prevent a possible cancer, and now I’m living a hell. A sad and cruel paradox of life.   [End]

Hi, I’me new here, and I’ve read a lot since yesterday. First of all it’s great that you share all your experiences, it’s very interesting and useful. However, I’m not so sure if that treatment is going to work in the long run. I mean the Prevex and the saline solution. I got a laser treatment some time ago on my face and I used the same procedure you are using. It worked great for the regular skin, but I’m not so sure if it’s going to work on the lips. Why? well, because I got EC because a dermatologyst recommended cortisone. It worked great to stop the crusting, and the inflammator ...
