I think the key here is to change your diet for the better. After my first MC, I stopped eating red meat, after my second MC, I stopped eating all meat, after my third MC, I went full vegan. Near the end of my training for an endurance bike ride (600 miles over 7 days), I began eating some meat & dairy, which only showed up negatively as pounds after the ride (I couldn’t stop eating these things completely after the ride -- I craved it again).
