licking your lips only relieves the symptoms. i tried it for just over a year and it didn’t work. my theory is that because our lips are swollen the part of the lips that is normally not exposed to the outside elements is constantly drying out and therefore new cells are dying. this is why im putting wet tissue paper on them.   [End]

Hi everyone Ive been reading posts here for a few months now. Ive had the same recurring lip peeling for the last 3 years with same old story of 4 day cycles and a constant overproduction of skin cells. Ive seen four derms and been steroids ( varying strengths) and a cream called elidel. None of this has worked as you guys have probably noticed as well.
