My impression from what you say is simply that you might be a bit shaky from a quite long fast. Myself I wouldnt worry about the danger of stones getting stuck having done some flushes myself. If a stone can get into the duct, then it can get out as far as I can work out. If there is an obstruction, (which I ahve had 2x in the past 2 years before I started flushing, then you will notice quite quickly as the liver stops functioning properly adn you will feel quite sick. I did my third flush last night, (the first two were in January and February). I drank a lot of oil down, a full mugful with the grapefruit juice. 2 normal adult doses of magnesium, one as Epsom salts, the other as milk of magnesium. Cindrailly, I have done two of these flushes now. The one thing I am certain of is that they are no big deal. They are a very simple, non-invasive procedure. I cannot imagine anybody, repeat anybody, having a serious problem from them . So I cant see any reason why you shouldnt give the procedure a try. I feel better from doing them, no doubt about it. I think this question of electrolyte levels is a major issue for any of these fasting regimes, they can be easily and dangerously thrown out of balance if one does too much while fasting or doesnt make sure that there is an adequate supply of salt coming in when so much is being simply washed out. You should also take your temperature and pulse to check on the basic signs to make sure that there is no danger. If there is any kind of blockage, the pain will properly be more localised around the gall area. I have had several of these kind of symptoms as well. I think it is congestion of the gall and liver which is preventing the liver from clearing properly. From what you say, I would agree that a programme of liver cleanses may address the problem. Yeah, there was some of what I presume is here referred to as chaff and the cleanse definitely helped a bit. But I dont agree that they were stones at all. They were very obviously freshly formed, made of one colour, without any evidence of having been there for any length of time whatsoever. My assumption is that they were a mixture of oil and bile, which is fairly predictable. Well, after over a year’s procrastination, I decided to go for it yesterday. I followed the Clark formula. Everything seemed to go too well really. One of my main symptoms when I have a flare up of my gall troubles is in fact a very uncomfortable hot flush to the face and a feeling of body heat. My body temperature, however, does not go up particularly, unless the gall attack lasts for days when there is a slight increase. So I dont think it is necessarily a women’s problem specifically. Firstly a practical question: do other forms of magnesium work ok in comparison with Espom Salts, ( which is magnesium sulphate, I believe). Where I live, only magnesium oxide and magnesium citrate( in tablet form) are available. I can delay the flush and get hold of Epsom salt but this will take some time and I would prefer to get on with it. Secondly a more theoretical question. What are the supposed benefits of flushing?
