Have you had reverse T3 tested? You want to test free T3 and reverse T3, then you divide rT3 into the fT3 and it should be more then 20%.
I take bio-identical sustained released T3, it is a vegitable based compound pharmacy hormone replacement. You do not want to take any T4 if you have a high reverse T3, as the T4 will just convert to rT3 and raise it more.
That being said, I still am battling with it, taking 100mcg of SRT3 my body temp is still averaging at 96.5, and I have a cortisol deffecency. The T3 has helped a lot, to bring up the energy levels, though.
