I finally broke down and had an appt with a cardiologist today. I just feel sometimes like my heart races and breathing doesn’t match up. The palps are pretty much gone. Does anyone know about high iodine results in a 24 hour urine test? The range was 35-500 and mine came back over 70,000. The doctor’s nurse doesn’t know what this means because they usually see low numbers. I called my endorinologist, but she blew me off saying she doesn’t know anything about it, but thinks it’s not endocrine related. I’m wondering if it might be related to the thyroid or well water? I don’t think that Candida is really my problem and tried the diet for 3 days a while back. I think I’ll pass on trying it again, but just wanted to let you all know about what my DOM said about it today. I’m pretty sure you all know about taking the probiotics and anti-fungals/yeasts. Cysts can definitely be caused by the Mirena. Progesterone affects smooth muscle which is the stomach, esophagous, intestines and other things. I had diarrhea once a month for 6 months while on ortho tri cyclin lo and the doctor said it was because of the change in progesterone from my other pill. He said the Mirena would be better beacuse of this, but I started feeling like my throat was closing and my appetite went away. It looks like a really great supplement. I just have to tell you that I don’t know if I’m feeling good because of where I am in my cycle or what (we’ll see this next week when I ovulate) but I have been seeing that NAET doc. I had some time a couple weeks ago when I had no energy and hadn’t been gaining any weight. He found that I was reacting to amylase and ptylain. I am definitely better as far as the feelings of doom go. I also was able to get rid of my anxiety about 4 mos post after having acupuncture. Right now my big complaints are left under arm pain, IBS symptoms on and off throughout the month, and head fog/dizziness. I feel like I kind of plateaued the last couple of months and haven’t gotten all the way better. Overall I am WAY better than I was in the beginning. These NAET doctors can test for silicone. My doctor has a test that is just ”plastics”. The bad thing about that is we don’t know exactly which ones make it up. It is probably a combination thoough. They can either make a vial with some silicone or they should be able to buy a test vial. My doctor was surprised he didn’t have one, but they buy the vials in sets and it wasn’t included in what he had. Supposedly a set can be up to $200. If you had a used or new Mirena you can hold that while they do the test. I looked into buying a mirena online but it was about $200. He even asked ...

Hi, I know some people have kept their Mirenas. I wish I had because my NAET doctor has said if I could get my hands on one he could test me to see if I react to it. Just thought I’d let you know in case somebody has one and they want to try it. Had an appt today and reacted to the ”plastics” vial. Reacted even more when he added progesterone to it. (progesterone is the closest he had to a progestin). I love how the new Mirena site says that you shouldn’t get it if you know you are allergic to levonorgestrel, silicone, or polyethylene. I had all the feelings of doom, anxiety and the ”baby kicks” that you describe. If you have not gotten the Mirena out, you need to get it out NOW. I’ve had mine out 6 mos now and feel soo much better, but still have occas. GI issues and a couple other things. Be prepared for things to get worse before they get better. Hi, I just though I would post about my appt today with the NAET doctor of oriental medicine. He tested my body’s reaction to hormones and combinations of them.
