My life will never be the same as it was before having my gall bladder removed, and I wish I’d known before what I know now. My doctor assured me that the gall bladder is just an unnecessary ”storage tank” and that my life would be the same without. I wonder how he’d like having to live his life close to a commode. I used to love going on long hikes, camping, swimming at the lake, etc. Try doing those things without a gall bladder. Someone wrote that Psyllium is better for cleaning out the intestines BECAUSE it’s a soluble fiber -- he added ”which expands” as the basis for it being better. This is totally backwards. It’s NOT as good as flax seeds (ground of course) BECAUSE it’s soluble. Flax seeds are a combination of both soluble and insoluble fibers -- plus a good source of Omega 3’s.
