i’d never thought i would be able to get a boyfriend if i keep having EC. my condition got a lot better and EC does not affect my daily life and doesn’t stop me to socialize. it still peels but the peeling area is much much smaller than before, so it doesn’t really matter. it just heals slowly and i need to be patient. i’ve been on the same treatment (japanese treatment) as before (no balm/cream/ointment etc..) for nearly 6 MONTHS. no miracle cure happens in few weeks. some people say they tried EVERYTHING but have they really tried one treatment for a long term like a year? i doubt ...

yes. and its very easy to manage. for me, being able to socialize more than before is a huge progress. and to be honest i don’t care if it takes a year to be healed completely. im pleased that Ec is not affecting my social life, though it still peels. but im happy that the green part (non Ec part) is getting bigger little by little (very very slowly)   [End]

hi, ive been SO busy as i said i started teaching lately. i have 8-10 lessons a day, i love teaching regardless my EC. no students seems to notice as they are busy learning new things. my bottom lip has no inflammation at all from the start, it just peels. everyone’s different, really. i only come to post here when i feel like reporting something. currently im just too busy with my new job etc. im still off balms, its going ok. i think it will take more time but its getting manageable, i try not to care too much about this condition.   [End]

yess, its already 56 days have passed.. more healthy lip skin is coming out, slow but steady progress... just awesome. my teaching job is starting tomorrow, and i also work in a big store. got 2 jobs no problem. still living without any balms/vaseline/ointments etc.. have been posting on japanese Ec forum lately, many people have tried steriod based ointments for a long term and they are desperate to find a cure but they can’t live without putting something on their lips, so they keep using vaseline etc.. they’ve been suffering for many many years.. there is a very helpful mem ...

here is a little tip to prevent having layers of EC getting stuck on top of each other. when the top later started to have loose, detached edges, trim edges with small scissors (eye brow scissors) frequently. always leave a little space, not cutting those bits completely. this cannot be done right after washing EC or when the lip is wet (after shower etc). but it can be done when the skin is completely dry. its important to leave EC alone by not peeling manually, but when loose edges are left for too long, the next layer gets stuck with the top later, and keep growing, then the next ...

ok, this is the 50th day since i started the treatment, see my old posts for details. im just reporting how it is going for me, everything about my condition is written in my past posts. it’s going very very well. normal area (green area, i call it) is getting bigger. its been a quite slow progress but i am seeing good signs. no major mess or epic build ups, no blood, got thinner top layer. for the first time i went out for a whole day without a mask, nobody noticed my lip being unusual. i don’t peel manually, so there is no ’good day’ in the cycle, as there are some ’leftovers’ from the previous cycle still stuck when the next cycle begins. but nobody stared at my lip at all. great. i will report again one week later or so.   [End]

hi there its been almost 1 month since i started the japanese treatment i mentioned in older posts. i made a new thread cos the old one was getting bigger. the current peeling cycle is going on for 10 days, it could be longer. this is awesome. peeling cycle is much much slower than before. i guess its starting to get close to normal lip step by step. non affected part is bigger. i call it ’green part’. the good way to know if EC is shrinking is to compare day 3 (or day 4) of each cycle, when the skin start to get bit hard. take pics on that day of the cycle and compare. i don’t wan ...

hey johnchristopher. thats cool. let’s stick to this and keep reporting how it goes. very encouraging that you are trying out something similar. in April, my peeling cycle was 2 days, now its becoming more than 8 day cycle. what i found was that balms/creams etc make EC peel faster and peel more, cos they make that white film thing very easily when showering. thus short peeling cycle ranging from 1-4 days.   [End]

for washing, i use an organic or gentle natural soap, later well, and put a foam very gently on lips, you can touch a little but no rubbing. be careful not to peel or pull anything, then rinse well.. gentle facewash (without chemicals) will do the same job. its very important to keep it clean :-)   [End]

forgot to report on this one. when i started the treatment my lip (in the centre of bottom lip) was bleeding on the 3rd day and 4day of peeling cycle because of dryness, it happened in 1st and 2nd and 3rd cycle. then after that my lip DOES NOT BLEED at all, from the 4th cycle. how cool? again, no balms used for 27 days. definitely something is changing. yay.   [End]

i never peel my lip by force since i started this treatment. towards the end of peeling cycle, normally edges start to peel by themselves, in my case. i just trim whats detached, but i leave enough space. it should be left untouched whatever happens especially when its wet cos skin is premature and it will not likely to be cured. sorry i won’t have time to keep replying to every single post from now on. i already said in my old post that ”no picking, peeling by force” meaning it should not be picked/peeled by fingers. it should be left untouched. this will be my last post answe ...

hi there. from the 4th peeling cycle since i started the treatment, there was a change in hardening process. normally, on day 3 to 4, my EC will turn hard then on 4 or 5th day, edges will start to peel bit by bit. but this time, my EC layer is thinner then usual, and its not as hard. peeled bits are much softer and thinner then usual. this has been reported by other japanese Ec patients who tried out the treatment. so i think its going well. for day 4, it doesn’t look messy, i could go out to shops no problem. previously this was impossible without using balms, even with a bal ...

it will take at least 2 or 3 weeks to see ANY changes, or even longer. as i said we need patience to do this. it wont just happen after 3-4 days. ive been doing this for 23 days, my lip is definitely better and i have more normalized/healthy part grown. and my skin is not growing as thick or too hard like it did since 4th cycle started. dont think anyone will be able to tell how long it takes to see any improvement. and as i mentioned, this is something that worked on many BUT it doesnt gurantee to work on everyone.   [End]

Hi there. its day number 22 since i started this treatment. wow im really happy with how its going. positive results for sure, so i can reveal what im doing but i must say it may not work for everyone. this treatment cured many EC patients in Japan. all you need is patience, and time off from seeing people (unless you can tell them it will take few to several months to heal this condition). im lucky to be in Japan, cos some people wear flu masks, to prevent flu or allergy etc. so im wearing it when im out. no vitamin E to be taken. its ok to have Vit E from usual diet, but not ...
