What do I do? I have a GI Dr who will treat me with either Ivermectin or Albendazole. But I am worried, as it says in Wikipedia that these meds don’t get the parasite in all it’s stages and the course needs to be frequently repeated. Has anyone on here dealt with this infection? My blood tests all confirmed: Lyme, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Babesia, Mycoplasma, Cpn. It’s very common for Lymies to have all these pathogens. One basically opens the door for all the others. My GI Dr. did a stool culture and the only result was E. Nana. He then did a pill capsule test and found moderately severe reflux esophagitis. I was positive for H-Pylori and never treated in the past so I am going to do the triple therapy for two weeks: high dose Amoxycillin, Biaxin and Nexium and after that we will see where I am at. I also did a Metametrix GI stool test which is very extensive and should show everything, yeast, parasites, etc... Will check in after I get those results. I am not on meds at the moment, just some anti-yeast measures like Caprilic acid and Cul ...

I did a search for Alinia here and nothing much came up. I have Lyme, Babesia, RMSF and it looks like I have some intestinal parasites. Treated Lyme and doing well, but suddenly have problems digesting foods, nausea, waking at dawn with pain near belly, nausea, some anal itching, alternating diarrhea and constipation.
