I have had Gall stones for 7 years, and treated them with cleansing when needed. This latest episode lasted for 4 days which is what drove me back to a doctor. Before the attack, I had a virus (i believe it was a virus and not parasites, because it went through my family one after the other, but I guess it could have been parasites as well.) Why do you use Oxypowder instead of Epson Salts? Does it have the same effect? I have a dull pain in my gall bladder still (a week later). I was going to do a cleanse finally this weekend, but I got another virus and didn’t feel up to it. I did just receive the Oxypowder in the mail so will start taking that tonight. Thanks hanna. I guess that’s what happens when you have children...I didn’t even remember that I had had something similar happen before. :) I usually don’t feel up to doing a full liver flush when I’m having an attack. I just do whatever I can to stop the pain. Sometimes I take epson salts, sometimes olive oil/lemon juice +/or supplements. Whatever works. I haven’t found a fool proof method. My 2 yr old son got some sort of bug and passed it on to the rest of my family. Symptoms were vommiting, which passed quickly followed by diarrhea which for him lasted about a week on and off. I was very ill on Tuesday, but felt fine on Wed (except for lingering diarrhea). Wednesday night, however, I felt a gall bladder attack coming on. I probably should have mentioned that I just got over some sort of virus that I picked up from my son, and I hadn’t been eating that much when it happened. Right after my son was born 3.5 years ago I started having gallbladder attacks and thankfully found this site and have done many liver flushes. I have not had an attack in probably a year. I’ve done some gall bladder cleanses, and thought I would try my first parasite cleanse before the next one. I picked up some supplements (Kroeger Herb) which has the 3 main ingredients for the cleanse. (Can’t afford the Hulda Clark ones right now.) I’ve been taking 2/3 recommended dosage on the bottle for about a week. After a couple days my scalp started to itch, my hands got bloated and now I’m getting itchy hives on my legs. Just wanted to report back that I’m feeling so much better. Thanks to all for your support. I was in so much pain after my third cleanse, worse than ever before. After meditating on the experience as much as I could, I decided to have my chiropracter check me out. I agree with Southern Belle. It is really easy to do and do Hulda Clark’s cleanse. Just try to keep the next day (especially the morning) free to rest and allow the gallstones to come out. I thought it would be much harder than it was the first time I did a cleanse but it was mostly in my head. I chose not to do a parasite cleanse as I am breastfeeding and felt it was best to wait and I had no problems. I get diarrhea when I do the liver cleanse. That is supposed to happen right? I will have to see what happens when I take it when I’m not doing a cleanse. The epson salt enema didn’t seem to cause diarhea but my bowels are still not back to normal from the cleanse. Please read my latest on my third cleanse and let me know if you have any advice. I did the enema last night with epson salts. I felt better but my back still really hurt. I took 2 teaspoons of olive oil and lemon juice (just as an experiment) and went to bed. Today I still feel like the whole area around my GB is in pain and the pain is still radiating into my back. I’ve never felt this bad for so long. It is especially bad when I eat anything.
