I have a question. It seems that silicone has been getting into our bloodstream from the Mirena,which Bayer stated could not happen. If silicone is causing our symptoms how can we rid our bodies of this poison? Also it needs to be known that silicone levels will not show up in ANA’s. It is a separate blood draw that has to be sent to a special lab for testing. [End]

I was the same way. Telling all my friends what a great concept it was. The only side effects explained to me was that it may fall out or need to be surgically removed. I wish I had done my homework. I wish I could turn back time. Just keep your focus and read the endless entries from women all over the world being affected by this evil device. You may want to look up ”mirena crash” to prepare yourself for post removal issues. I had mine in for 9 months and I am almost 2 months post removal. Keep in touch and let us know how you are. I had my Mirena placed in November 09 and I started with symptoms in Feb 2010. I started with nausea (horrible) and then progressed to slurred speech. I went to several Neuro’s and the first said I did NOT have ALS, and then second said he thinks I have ”sporadic ALS”. I went to a Natural Doctor for an Inonic Cleanse and told her my history(while crying my eyeballs out). I told her I have the Mirena and she said ,”GET IT OUT”!!!!!!! I did the next day, which was last tuesday. I then started to research the side effects and OMG!!!!!!! EVERYTHING you women are having SO AM I!!! Nausea ...
