Guess what - I’ve seen 3 doctors over the years and each has said that I don’t have a problem; my mother has just said that there is no problem; my sister has just said that there is no problem and it’s all in my head; my friend just said ”EH?”; yet I know how people react around me - it’s not nice. I’m not trying to offend anyone. I’m shocked that so many people are reporting the same basic experiences that suggest that either: 1) Those that we should be able to trust are lying to us or have blocked it out for so long that they genuinely believe what they say. 2) The problem manifests itself only in certain situations and can be switched on and off like a light. 3) There is a real problem but most people subconsciously react to it (only a few consciously react). 4) The problem really is psychological.   [End]

I’m stunned. I can’t believe how many posts here state the following three things: 1) The doctor/dentist cannot detect the odour and assume the problem is psychological 2) Family state that there is no problem, yet cover noses/move back/sit elsewhere 3) Friends and colleagues clearly show (and sometimes state) offence at the odour What the hell is going on?   [End]
