Hello all, I want to start healing my scars but I have concerns over ingesting too much iodine and hyperthyroidism I will be using my own Lugol’s solution.. I have several small scars.. Would it be ok if I do all the scars in one time? Or is it better to do one at the time till healed? Do I have to worry about overdosing the iodine? Thanks for any help!   [End]

Hello everybody, I have a question about preparing my own Lugol’s solution. I got 10grams of iodine crystals and I got only 15grams of pottassium iodide... as I understand I should add 200ml of water. I have 2 questions. The ratio I read is 20gr of potassium iodide to 10gr of iodine crystal As I dont have a scale would it be a problem if I only add 15gr? I thought the pottassium is only added to make the iodine more easy soluble. 2nd question is.. I have deionized water instead of distilled water does that matter? The solution will mainly be used for scar healing. thanks ...
