Blog: Nursing in the Raw
I'm bored with the same tired green smoothies. I get these good eggs from Walmart (yes I know Walmart is crap but free range hens don't lay in the winter hardly!). Sometimes I want something different. I guess I need to think outside the box or mason jar.
New grocery store is opening up here. I wonder what they will have in terms of produce. I want to try raw grassfed beef that is organic but not till I'm into my muscle building phase. Right now I'm tearing down to build back up. My mother ate organic beef livers and she's cancer free.
The residents' families have been bringing more fruit baskets. No one eats the fruit. I eat it all :D So I've been passing on the green smoothies BUT I get hungry and want something to eat besides apples.
Yes I'm going to begin to make affirmations to bring more happy rawfood energy into my life. Today was mentally tough on me. I thought about killing people, committing suicide and tired all at once. I'm fine now that I went to the gym and pumped some iron. I still love nursing. Thank God for chocolate in all its lovely forms :D

Did you catch my recipe for lara bars? They are raw and made with date paste, nuts, cocoa, and other stuff. It is like eating candy.

Hi Ren, Yep I agree, hehehehehhe.
Look I make these so often I add some variations.
If you have the chocolate fine but many times I just add double the cocoa, add in some sesame seeds, ground flax and pollen is lovely. I love to add in some dried coconut for sweetness and my favorite nut combinations are walnuts, almonds and pistashioes. I made some last night with walnuts and almonds alone.
So good luck on your ventures with raw. You can do this.
