Blog: Southern Etiquette or life in Dixie
Growing up in south Georgia, in a small town of appox 4000 souls, life was simple - compared to the drive and grind of today!
We used to walk to the Methodist Church with our Grandmother.. She gave me a KJV Bible when I was in the 4th grade; which I read cover to cover.. though I must admit that I did not understand it entirely!
Then Brother Barnett came to preach a revival - then during that service I went forward at the invitation to accept Jesus as my Saviour! This moment forever changed my life!

While the so called " Bible belt " is in Dixie; even there many people are waiting for God to move...
Yet; It's not God who fails to answer our prayers - But it's us, who have failed to take our God given Authority and then use it in a correct and timely manner! Because if you do nothing, then you can not expect God to move since you have in fact hindered His Power from flowing in your life!
** The Lord God is today all that He will ever be or ever was! So stop waiting for God to act, He has already done everything He is going to do!
" Without Faith it is impossible to please God, for he that comes to God must believe that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him! " Heb 11:6!
So the problem is not with God it is you!
God has already given you everything; you haven't learned how to receive yet! The real problem is your receiver!
Because God uses people to do work upon the earth today!
In the Kingdom of God there are specific laws governing faith and healing. Yet, when we continue to violate those laws; how can we pray and expect a Blessing?
Stop condemning God! We hear people say things like, " It must have been God's Will that so & so died, or this business failed, or their marriage broke up, or my children are stubborn and rebellious! Actually none of these are right, because they are ignorant of the fact that God can't just do anything He wants! He has set Laws into place which determine how and when God can act - since He does not lie or break down the way His Kingdom operates in eternity!
So when we violate those laws, we actually empower the Devil to come in and to steal, kill or destroy. We need to learn how to cooperate with God's Laws to receive His Blessings and Abundant Life!
Many people believe that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we might ask or think; yet this is not true unless you read far enough!
** Read and learn:
" Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. " Ephesians 3:20
Notice that the last part of this phrase is the key; which puts limitation upon the first part!
God has set it up to where He has to flow through people! God does not try to control your life without your consent or agreement! There has be power working on the inside of you - specifically the Power of Faith! You have to stir yourself up, so that it makes your Faith come to life.
Because without Faith it is impossible to please God!

So many people today sit around following the so called news; and becoming depressed, and discouraged.. Much of the Mass Media and TV - Movies are leading many people away from God... They spend virtually no time with God or reading the Bible; then throw out a pray every now and then expecting an immediate answer!
They then they say " God failed to deliver!"
It is absolutely wrong for us to condemn God!
Because it is not God who failed; rather it is the way we fail to understand how to receive... Because we do not understand the laws that govern even God's operation!
God is not going to resist the Devil for you, nor is He going to do what He has told you to do! Read (James 4:7.)
He has commanded you to heal the sick. (Matt 10:8)
He has generated the Power and placed it on the inside of you - the very same power which raised Christ from the dead. (Epf. 1:18-20)
He equipped you, but then He told you to lays hands upon the sick and they will recover. (Mark 16:18)
But God never fails: I have had many bad things happen in my life. People who were close to me died. even when they were prayed for... It was obvious that it was me - who missed it! Yet I do not understand how things often worked out that way, but I have come to the conclusion that people fail not God!
The release of God's Power in your life is directly proportional to how well you come to believe!
Faith is the issue, your faith!
Study and learn how to enrich your life with the power of God in your life!
Have you attempted to seek God in your life yet!

Here is where the real intent and purpose of your earthly experience.. Read think, then discern what this means for you and how it will impact your eternal life!
This goes a long way toward answering the question -
" where will you spend eternity? "
