Disease is the equivelant of toxicity and lack of nutrition in all forms (spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical). It's not something that "happened" to you. It's something you chose and continue to choose.
I love this saying: "the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results."
There are emotional, mental and spiritual aspects to all disease. One can choose to learn from what one has manifested in physical form by examining the choices that led them to where they are. We reap what we sow. Stinking thinking manifests its physical counterpart (disease) through the choices we make. Analyze these choices and correct them. Get on a coherent path that leads to harmony and wellness based on life purpose.
As far as helping other people?
You know the saying, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink? For further evidence of this just look around some of the forums here at curezone with "disease" names and you will find that, in large part, they are nothing more than social clubs for pity party's and denial ceremonies. The candida forum is an excellent example of this. Have a look knowing that disease is toxicity and lack of nutrition. Many people don't even want to be reached, as they are knee deep in their pain body addictions. This isn't a slam...just a harsh truth, that when they wake up out of, they too will see it as plain as day from their new fresh awareness.
I see so many people not owning the circumstances that brought about their disease or disharmony and who are still caught in the self deluded lie of trying to find a cure "out there." Something to patch the hole in the dyke instead of fixing what caused the hole in the first place. This is classic victim consciousness. Look around and you'll see it everywhere. It's rampant.
So many forums for one disease makes your head spin. It's all about toxicity and lack of nutrition freinds. Don't make it harder than it is. No magic beans. No magic potions. The more you add to the equation the less balanced you will be (and the more deluded and confused). Make smart coherent choices. There are many forms of clutter which lead to incoherency and thus disease. So to be healthy and happy? Own your problems. You created them. Then get back in the drivers seat and undue them. Clean up your mind first (addictions, habits, negative thinking, etc), reestablish your connection to spirit (mediation, chanting, prayer, stillness, watching your mind, etc.), balance your emotional feedback (utilize meditation, EFT, creative endeavors), and harmonize with the physical world by choosing the natural flow ( proper nutrition, exercise, sleep, harmonious relationships, purposeful work, healthy environments, etc.
Take a deep breath and begin. You'll be glad you did.

Negative thinking really does stop people in their tracks.
Keeping relationships straightened out helps a lot.
Once someone has moved past negativity they can soar onto higher heights. Nice post.
