Today
I'm going to the raw cafe for a birthday celebration. I might even get
myself a raw dessert! This will be my first birthday where I didn't
indulge in foods that have no nutritional value whatsoever. It's great
knowing that whatever I eat today- even if it's something extra for
celebratory purposes rather than for hunger, it's not going to harm me!
Next
year this time, I hope to be at my goal weight, but even if that's a
pie-in-the-sky wish, I know that I'll be close enough to my goal that
I'll be a much happier, healthier person. Eating raw was the best
birthday gift I could have gotten for myself.

That's a great thing to do. My b-day is 3/3, and it's always a chance to "splurge" and be bad.
What a good thing to do - a birthday is the best time to be good to yourself. That way you can have many more. Where do you live, that you've got a raw food cafe around?
I used to live in Berkeley CA and NYC, now in VT it's slim pickins. The co-op is great, but the prepared organic foods are usually cooked.
Happy birthday! Good luck on your quest. I'm on the same quest. Somehow three years really piled up on my bones!

Well I'm pleased to keep such wonderful company. Isn't it amazing to be a pisces and to have the power to reach deep into the mysteries of the world?
Then to turn around and swim upstream, against all your best efforts?
I find that my piscean ways make my experience so rich sometimes it feels like I'm living twice as much time as everyone else. (Good, or bad!)

| happy birthday - an excellent gift to give yourself and you must feel amazing. i love readign your blog i am truly inspired by your raw efforts. im trying but only acheiving around 80% - which i am stil proud off. you talk aobut your calaorie intake i was wondering how you add this up. im not really intending on doing it daily but would just like to check on my own. thanks and keep up the great work.
