Here's a snippet from the video I found of Felicia and me dumping the last of our binge foods on December 31st, 2005. Take a look at that garbage can! The last words, which got cut off a bit, are "goodbye Fig Newtons, hello 2006!"
I hope I do this right as this is the first time I've posted.
I don't know if you've already come across this information before or addressed it in your blog as I've kind of been jumping around your posts. Please forgive me if this is duplicating information you already have, but if not you might want to look into Victoria Boutenko's research on raw green smoothies.
You can view an article she has written on the benefits green smoothies at the Raw Family website. She has also written a book on them and really done her homework. They're a great way to get vital nutrients into our bodies in tasteful ways. I've done a 7 day fast on the green smoothies and never felt so good.
I'm in a time crunch right now but if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Hi! Thanks for the green smoothies suggestion. I have actually tried making them, but I was very inconsistent about doing it daily. I eventually stopped because of the effort it took to stock and clean so many greens all the time. I haven't read Boutenko's book but it sounds like something I'd be interested in reading. I think if I had more time, I'd enjoy making the smoothies again.
