Blog: Fasting Orange Juice Style!!!!
Today was a great day. First thing this morning my father and brother in law came by to pick up my fathers canopy. I had let him store it here for a while because he didn't have room at his place for it. I have a twenty bay covered storage building, so I have plenty of space to store it. Anyways, my point was how much stronger you get when fasting. My brother in law works construction for a living so he should be a fairly strong guy. He and my father took one side of the canopy and I took the other and they together could barely manage it and I on my side had no problems, lol. Figure that one out. They both just kind of looked at me funny, didn't say a word.
I can feel the power of the mighty gorilla, lol.
I then spent the last half of the day moving firewood around. That is a major workout. If you have ever worked with firewood, you know what I mean.
And all that on a little thing called orange juice. Definitely changes the myth about having to eat solid food for strength.
So I juiced my oranges today, drank my kidney cleanse and bf&c teas, took my ginger, uva ursi, and olive leaf capsules. Drank three drops of oregano oil in water. Drank two cups of my sorghum tea, and am now going to make a third. I am really craving carrots today for some reason, must be something in them my body desires.
Hope everyone had a great weekend, I will post again tomorrow,
Peace....

I'm on day 12 too (http://curezone.com/blogs/f.asp?f=637&t=82352) and I've been craving carrots as well. I allowed myself a little apple/carrot juice (mostly apple) today and yesterday, and the cravings stopped abruptly.
Good Luck!

That sound so good. I am doing exclusively orange juice until I am done but I will definitely try that one out when I have finished.
I hope your fast is going great, keep up the good work.
Peace....

I'm on a much shorter fast, 10 days, but I'm going to try keeping my workout schedule at what it is right now (20 minutes on the bike, 20 minutes on the treadmill and 40 minutes lifting circuit) and see how I feel.
I'm going to walk uphill rather than running on the treadmill, that's the only change.
10 days is a good amount for me, a manageable feat.

Sounds like a wonderful plan to me.
I never did understand why people used treadmills when there is so much land to walk on. I love my walks, I usually do five miles. I am getting my bike out of mothball so I can start riding it this summer. I hit the weights 2-3 times a week for an hour and fifteen minutes a session. I do swiss ball exercises twice a week for an hour each and I do cardio, either my trampoline or jumprope three times a week for half an hour.
I sometimes miss a workout but I pretty much keep that schedule.
Many blessings on your fast, what day are you on now?
Peace....

- Day 2 for me... by annaconda

I'm on Day 2, with the end of work brings me to the gym, which means the annoying part of my day is through.
The treadmill is good for me cause it's cold up here in VT! And it allows me to walk on an incline which helps my ankles.
I felt awesome this morning - The lifting really makes you feel toned and tight with the fasting. I wasn't doing enough exercise last time I fasted. I like that I can focus on just getting through work to get to the gym, where I can shut my mind off for an hour and a half and work. Just work.
I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

That is totally awesome. Way to go.
I agree, I really look forward to my workouts, and now I understand why people use treadmills. I can't take my walks very much in the winter here because of all the stinkin rain, lol. I live in Washington State, and it wouldn't be so evergreen if we didn't have all that rain. We also rust here, we don't tan, lol.
Keep me posted on how things are going with your fast. I enjoy your posts.
Peace....
